Exactly

I can't say enough how much I enjoy reading Anne Lamott. I guess she's not for everybody, but I read and reread her books all of the time. Right now I'm on my second or third time through Bird by Bird, and this is one of my favorite quotes: "Writing is about learning to pay attention and to communicate what is going on. Now, if you ask me, what's going on is that we're all up to here in it, and probably the most important thing is that we not yell at one another."
