*Sneeze*

I watched the Obamas on 60 Minutes tonight and tried, oh how I tried, not to fall deeper in love with them. It was a waste of time. I loved watching them, listening to them. Loved every word. After eight years it's hard to imagine having a President who won't embarrass us. Hard to imagine Barack massaging the shoulders of a foreign diplomat, isn't it? Thank goodness. Also, I'm not a huge fashionista, but I've been enjoying this site that follows Michelle's fashion choices. Check out this picture of her in a French magazine. Beautiful.

I've been sick as a dog for a week and a half. Now I'm three days on antibiotics and starting to feel better. I'm going to sleep in tomorrow and go to work for half a day. I'm almost looking forward do it - I've watched more trash television this week than I have in the past five years.

Weather forecast for the next four days: snow. And lots of it. I can hardly complain; I feel like my little city has been trying to romance me, trying to make up for it's shortcomings by extending autumn so much later than normal. I've loved every 55 and 65 degree day. We've had more mild weather than I could have hoped for. I'm ready for winter. Bring it on.

  1. I hear ya about the Obamas. In looking at so many photos of people watching and listening, it seems like what we're finally seeing in peoples' faces is that he has given us back the belief that we can change and grow.
