It's fun to hear from other Americans living in Japan, especially when they describe the experience so well. Anna Dilemna got this one right on.

And I, too, have experienced multilingual Witnesses (and tried to fake them out), and I've also thought many times that it's just me, the plants, and the cast of CNN. (You people are just discovering Anderson Cooper, but he and I go way back.)
