Nihon

I've been missing, missing, missing Japan lately, so on Sunday I closed my eyes and clicked my heels three times, and found myself at my local Uwajimaya Asian grocery and gift store. It was wonderful. And now let's all be totally amazed that I live in a place that has a local Asian grocery store. For, lo - this was not always the case.

  1. I don't think the Seattle Uwajimaya sells bidets. We're totally gyped!

  2. Okay, I'll bite ... what particular - shall we say - "spin"(?) have the Japanese to offer on the concept of the "Bidet"?

  3. Oh, it's more than a bidet, my friends. It's a Warmlet. I miss my Warmlet so much. First of all, it's a heated seat. That's the best part when your cold buns are on it in the middle of the night. You could fall asleep on that thing. It also has a water stream to the, um, "front" or "back" depending on what you need, and of course you can control the force of the water. I believe there's also a fan to help you dry off. For boys the seat lifts and lowers automatically. And that's all I can remember off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's more. See the control panel on the side? Yes, I miss the Warmlet.

You can in fact purchase one of these babies here in the Emerald City!

I miss Japan so much. It is good to know a place like that exists in the world.

  5. I miss Japan from time to time as well. I used to travel there several times a year, and now I'm lucky if I make it every four years. :-(

  6. You have no idea how intrigued I am by the warmlet. Seriously. It's worth a vacation to Japan, isn't it?

  7. Great site that you have here man. I'm a first time visitor, but I'm very impressed. I have a site as well, one for guys only. It's a relatively-new site, but I just wanted to inform you about it. I'd like to exchange links with you, to help spread some traffic around between each other.

If you're interested, please leave a comment under the "Resources for Guys" page when you've linked guysdothat.com to your blog and I'll return the favor under that page.

Keep up the good work man. I hope you can check out what we've got for you so far.
