Great Reading

I'm reading an excellent book about Mormon Fundamentalism and polygamy called Under the Banner of Heaven. It's by Jon Krakauer, who is a great writer. I think I've read all his other stuff. Somehow he always comes across as having researched his subject meticulously. He also is able to make any topic full of suspense; I didn't anticipate this would be a page-turner, but it is. I think Mormon Fundamentalism is whacked. Probably no more whacked than Islam Fundamentalism or Christian Fundamentalism, but this will make you lock your doors at night. It's a great read.
