Ho-Hum

I just returned from Family Mart (which is the local equivalent to AM/PM or 7-eleven) where I had another “Only in Japan” experience. A customer noticed me standing in the check out area and struck up a conversation in the usual way. He bellowed “HERRO!” at me. He was so interested in how tarr I am (almost 6’) and drug me around to show every customer that I’m taller than he is. Wow! It’s another day in Japan!
