Transition

Aloha from Hawaii! I've had an amazing six days on Oahu and I leave for the airport to NY in just a few minutes. Hawaii has been everything I needed it to be, much more than I ever thought it could be, and I have a killer tan. What's better than that? I came to visit a friend and try to detox from my evil job. My friend treated me like absolute royalty (just the way LSL likes it) and I can't really remember when I've had so much fun. Fun is what happens when you feel happy and kind of carefree and you're doing something that you like with someone that you really enjoy . . . oh, you guys probably know what fun is. I'd forgotten.

I have beaucoup pictures to post and a lot of opinions and experiences to write about. Sincere, sincere thanks for all of the well-wishes and comments. The jury is still out, but I think I might survive this whole ordeal just fine.
